Mr. Gormley enjoys one of the longest tenures at Abington Bank with over 35 years of service to our customers, and is responsible for all lending activities of the Bank. Since his career began as a teller in 1971, he has held positions throughout the Bank and is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the financial markets. Working directly with our customers throughout his career has given him a unique perspective on the values and expectations of those in the communities we serve which is reflected in how we serve our clients today.
His enduring commitment to Abington Bank’s mission of community service and lending expertise allow him to provide our customers with the highest level of accessibility and business insight in the region.

W. Gareth Horan

With over 27 years of commercial banking service, Gary is responsible for all Commercial Lending activities at Abington Bank. Experienced in a wide range of industries, he brings special expertise in financing for contractors and transportation-related companies that he developed during his tenure at major financial institutions in the Philadelphia market.
Gary is a graduate of the prestigious Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Clarion State College where he majored in finance and management.

Elisabeth Golden

Before joining the Commercial Lending team, Elisabeth’s career centered on providing financial solutions and lending services to the automotive industry. As part of the Abington Bank team, she applies her business lending experience to local community businesses to help them develop financing solutions that will help their businesses grow.
Elisabeth values the relationship she shares with each customer, strives to provide the highest quality customer service to each customer, and believes sound lending solutions are pertinent in the success of every business. Elisabeth completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut and earned her MBA degree at Rosemont College.

Robert I. Monk

Bob’s banking career spans 30 years with a broad range of experience in commercial lending and bank operations. His expertise includes structuring innovative financial solutions for small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Philadelphia region. Strongly committed to growing business in the communities that we serve, Bob lends his financial expertise by serving as Treasurer for Gilda’s Club of Delaware Valley.
Bob earned his undergraduate from LaSalle University.

Louis Scarcia

With a real estate career that has spanned 35 years, Lou is responsible for all Construction Lending activities at Abington Bank. Experienced in all areas of real estate and land development, he has facilitated a variety of real estate financing transactions through out the communities we serve.
Lou earned his undergraduate degree in business administration and his masters in real estate finance from Temple University.

Suzanne L. Welch

Sue’s professional career spans over 21 years of financing and servicing the automotive industry in the Philadelphia region and the tri-state area. Her combined knowledge in both finance and marketing enables her to provide greater insight into growing her clients’ businesses as she has provided financial solutions for closely-held businesses and recommended strategies to improve revenues and increase operational efficiency.
Sue earned both her undergraduate degree and MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology with a dual concentration in finance and marketing.

Jack's banking career spans 33 years with a broad range of experience in retail banking and commercial lending in the Philadelphia and surrounding communities. Jack is dedicated to finding creative financial solutions for many small to medium-size companies.
Jack is a graduate of LaSalle University with a degree in Political Science/Law.
